iOS Email Settings - Faculty and Staff (Personally Owned)

The following instructions help you in configuring your Elon email account (Microsoft Exchange) to your iOS device (iPhone, iPod Touch).

1.) From the iDevice home screen, select the Settings app

2.) Select 'Mail, Contacts, Calendars' from the list

3.) Choose 'Microsoft Exchange'

You may receive a message stating that the device can not verify the elon.edu server. If this is the case, simply press 'OK' or 'Continue.'

4.)  Enter your email user name with @elon.edu; your email password; and a description for the email account

  • If prompted for a server, enter: outlook.office365.com.
  • The "domain" field remains optional.

5.) Press 'Next'

6.) Select the content you would like to synchronize: Mail, Contacts, Calendars and Reminders

7.) Tap Save when finished
