The Kaltura Personal Capture Desktop Recorder enables easy recording in class, at home, or on-the-go with automated publishing and interactive viewing within Moodle.
Kaltura Personal Capture enables you to create multi-stream recordings using a vast array of recording devices such as integrated webcams or a progressional USB/HDMI connected video camera. You can automatically capture video, audio, and screen in parallel. Kaltura Personal Capture can record up to four video streams simultaneously. You can also record presentations or capture the screen.

Like most software, Kaltura Personal Capture is subject to changes and upgrades at any time. As such, we encourage you to read the documentation supplied by Kaltura regarding the Kaltura Personal Capture capability.
1.) Make sure you have installed the Kaltura Personal Capture Desktop Recorder first

These instructions cover uploading a Kaltura Personal Capture recording to Moodle and inserting it in a Course. For demonstration purposes, only the Screen Recording option is utilized for this walkthrough.
1.) After you have finished creating a recording using Kaltura Personal Capture, click the 'Stop' button from the Desktop Recorder
2.) Your video will prepare and open in preview mode - Here you can make adjustments (such as trim, chop, add titles or credits) - when finished click 'Done'
5.) Navigate back to Moodle and refresh your My Media Page - your Kaltura Personal Capture recording will now appear

6.) Now you can proceed to insert your Kaltura Personal Capture recording into a Moodle course as normal
