Note: Elon University does not officially support personally owned mobile devices. Therefore, the instruction below is to be used at your own discretion. Aside from the instruction below the Technology department is unable to further assist users.

Before proceeding with your selected client, you must enable imap using the web client (email.elon.edu). Click here for instructions.

Before configuring your mobile device with your Elon email account, clear out any existing Elon email settings from prior configurations

  • Password: Elon email password
  • Incoming server: imap.gmail.com
    • SSL
    • Incoming server (IMAP): 993
  • Outgoing server: smtp.gmail.com
    • Requires authentication
    • TLS
    • Outgoing server (SMTP): 587
