Description E-Alert is an emergency alert system that sends text messages to your phone.It provides a guide to actions you should take should a major storm or disaster strike.
Available to Faculty
Service availability You may sign up online at any time for the service. Alerts will be sent to you based on the categories of emergency for which you signed up.

  • Know when class schedules change due to heavy winter storms.

About E-Alert

E-Alert is powered by e2Campus and is part of Elon's emergency notification system. E-Alert enables the university to send urgent news to your mobile device and/or email. Once you sign up for the service, Elon can text your mobile device and/or email you timely information about emergencies, class cancellations, and important weather information.

To receive these emergency messages, you must register and select the groups from which you would like to receive messages. By default the Emergency Notifications Group is selected. Your personal information will not be released and will be used solely for selected notifications. There is no charge from Elon to use the service. The service is available to all current students, faculty and staff of Elon University.
