There are three primary departments within Campus Technology Support

Campus Technology Support:

Among the services we provide are hardware/software support for Elon-issued FacStaff computers, Classroom Support for Elon's technological classrooms and computer labs, and the Help Desk call center for any questions you may have and for general consulting services.
Our Hours: Fall, Winter, and Spring: Summer:
Monday-Thursday 7:00am-10:00pm 7:00am-8:00pm
Friday 7:00am-6:00pm 7:00am-5:00pm
Saturday 9:00am-6:00pm 12:00pm-6:00pm
Sunday 1:00pm-10:00pm 1:00pm-8:00pm

FacStaff Computer Support

FacStaff Computer Support provides hardware and software support to all Elon-issued FacStaff technology. We do not support FacStaff personal machines.

FacStaff Computer Support completes repairs to Elon-issued FacStaff computers based on a priority list. The priority list is as follows:

  • Lab/Classroom (Immediately)
  • Secretary
  • Faculty
  • Administrative Staff
  • Any Upgrade
  • FacStaff Computer Support further breaks down these priorities by first completing repairs in each category for users who are completely without the use of their computers:
    • FacStaff Computer Support responds immediately to lab or classroom issues.
    • FacStaff Computer Support responds within an hour to secretaries.
    • FacStaff Computer Support responds within one working day to faculty.
    • FacStaff Computer Support responds to administrative staff within two working days.

Classroom Support

Classroom support sets up and services technology contained within campus classrooms. Among these are:

  • Data Projectors (& Screens)
  • Overhead Projectors
  • DVD Players
  • VCRs
  • CD Players
  • Stereo Receivers
  • Crestron Control Systems
  • VGA Connector
  • DVI Connector
  • HDMI Connector

All classrooms are equipped with at least a television, a VCR, an overhead projector, a screen and a white/chalk board. Classroom Support will also deliver & setup equipment for use within classrooms that do not already have equipment installed.
