A blog is a website that allows writers to easily post text, images, videos, links, and other materials. There are different types of blogs, including course blogs, department/organization blogs, and personal blogs. Elon University hosts blogs.elon.edu, an installation of WordPress, that allows faculty, staff, and students to collaborate around a common subject, such as an academic course, program, or activity.
Blogs.elon.edu are available for Elon courses, departments and faculty research. Individuals or student organizations wanting a blog are encouraged to use a third-party blogging tool. More information about those tools is available at the bottom of this page.
Blogs are available online 24/7. Elon University's blog site can be accessed by visiting blogs.elon.edu.
